We hiked from the trail head. At first, we were walking side by side, talking and laughing, telling each other something we found at the side of the road. Then, due to difference pace, we became distant. I wonder how distant we are now. I wonder should I speed up, I wonder if you are waiting.

“ Lost in Distance” is the installation of organic shape group illustrations I created from the idea of feeling confused about the disconnection with the person you were connected with. The project was inspired by personal experience of hiking with a dear dear friend.
